Will 99% of Jobs Disappear by 2030? Experts Sound Alarming AI Warning


Synopsis: AI is moving faster than most people realize, and some experts believe the impact on jobs will be far greater than we expect. A great expert says that by 2030, almost every job could disappear, with AI doing the same work for just a fraction of the cost. He even points to AGI being ready by 2027, which could trigger a collapse in the job market. Others like Dario Amoudi and Mo Goudat also warn that even high-level jobs we think are safe today may not survive. The bigger worry is that governments are not preparing, even though work and income are the basis of our social system.

AI Revolution or Job Extinction? What Experts Predict for 2027–2030

Experts have warned that the spread of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the workplace will have serious consequences. Roman Yampolsky, a computer science professor and AI security expert at the University of Louisville in the US, said that AI will eliminate 99 percent of jobs by 2030. Yampolsky made the remarks while speaking on the business podcast ‘The Diary of a CEO’.

‘Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)’, which is capable of thinking and behaving like humans, will be ready by 2027. The job market will collapse within three years of the arrival of AGI. Yampolsky also says that with the creation of ‘humanoid’ robots that think and act like humans, the need for human resources in the workplace will decrease sharply.

‘We are seeing a world with unemployment on a scale never seen before. We are not talking about 10 percent unemployment today, but about 99 percent. If an employee could receive equal service from an AI model for a subscription of \$20, then the employer would adopt that approach. In the first phase, office computers will come to a situation where they will work on their own. Gradually, other jobs will also be taken over by AI,’ Yampolsky warned.

One of the foundations of the current social system is income obtained through work. He said that this will change in the new situation, and the changing concept of work may require corrections to our social system itself.

This is not the first time that an expert has warned about the impact that AI technology may have on the workplace. Earlier this year, Dario Amoudi, CEO of American artificial intelligence startup Anthropic, warned that AI could eliminate 50 percent of office jobs within five years and that governments should be prepared to deal with the impact this could have on various sectors. Similarly, Mo Goudat, who retired as Google X’s Chief Business Officer in 2018, has also cautioned that by 2027, even high-paying, important office jobs could disappear. He pointed out that roles once thought safe, such as software developers, CEOs, and even podcasters, may no longer be secure.

The growth and spread of AI technology are posing challenges to the employment sector. Governments have yet to grasp the seriousness of the issue. Amoudi also stated that serious warnings are being taken lightly.

A Day of Light and Harmony: Teachers’ Day, Eid, and Onam Together


When the student is ready, the teacher will appear! In this age of rather pronounced nationalism, one may say that all cultural and value-based things originated from India. Teachers’ Day is one such exclusive example that is solemnly observed on September 5, the day Dr. S Radhakrishnan was born. 

Yes, a teacher par excellence, Dr.Radhakrishnan was a great thinker of India and an ideal teacher.  He encouraged education in letter and spirit. The teaching profession was his primary love, and those who studied under him still remember with gratitude his great qualities as a teacher. He served in such a way that made India a most privileged nation in the world, and India honored him with the Bharat Ratna Award.

Education is the single means for development in this world of breakneck competition, where teaching is a dignified profession that supports the backbone of learning.  A teacher is an architect of a nation, or rather, civilization. A philosopher said, Everyone who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The love and reverence we provide our parents is habitual, but a teacher has to earn our love and esteem.

It is obvious, there cannot be a good teacher without a student who is desirous of learning. Conversely, no technology or modern student may dare to say that we don’t need papers and pens, as software can be used to write on. Is this technology sophisticated enough to teach children the way virtual teachers do? Each person may have different opinions. But what real fact is that the answer to the above stated disputes is a big ‘NO’. No technology can replace a teacher. Technology is just an augmentation to a teacher. It can help the process of learning, but it certainly can’t replace the role of the teacher.

According to Dr.Radhakrishnan, education should not merely give us some techniques so that we lead successful lives, but should also help us discover everlasting values. Therefore, be ready, students! Let us follow the maxim: 'When the student is ready, the teacher will appear’, implying that when a student acknowledges that he is in want of knowledge and desires to acquire it, he will open his mind to his teacher, who is willing to give it.  On this Teacher’s Day, let us acknowledge, if knowledge is the LIGHT, then teachers are the Guiding Stars that give us light. May this Eid bring peace to every home and keep our interfaith bonds steady and warm. Eid Mubarak to all.

Onam Kerala (Thiruvonam)

When Onam arrives, Kerala feels like it is breathing in rhythm again. Flower carpets on the floor, a happy rush in the kitchen for the sadya, children running about, elders telling the story of Mahabali and a just rule. It is a festival of homecoming and goodwill. To Malayalis in Kerala and to those living far away, I wish you a gentle, prosperous Thiruvonam. May your table be full and your hearts light. Happy Onam.

The National Scholarship Portal (NSP), set up by the Central Government, is a key platform that helps students all over India check and receive their scholarship payments. Through this portal, various types of scholarships are made available to school and college-level students. This portal, which has been operating since the year 2015, is now active in the 2025–26 academic session, and lakhs of students have applied under it.

Payment started in the students' accounts

As per the decision taken by the government, the amount of NSP scholarship is being sent to the bank accounts of eligible students. This time, scholarship up to a maximum of Rs 75,000 is being transferred directly to the accounts of the beneficiaries through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). In such a situation, it has become very important for the candidates who have applied to check their payment status.

Payment status will be checked online 

The payment status of the NSP scholarship can be seen only by visiting the official website. Students can know the status of benefits after logging in and entering their registration number and password. This process will make it clear when and how much has been sent to their account.

Eligibility conditions become important

The benefit of the NSP scholarship is being given only to those students who are residents of India and are studying in a government school or college. Apart from this, the annual income of the candidate's family should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh. The bank account should be linked to DBT, and Aadhaar-based KYC is mandatory. Good marks in previous classes are also part of the eligibility.

Scholarship up to a maximum of Rs 75,000

Under this government scheme, students are given scholarships of different amounts depending on their class and merit. This amount can be up to a maximum of Rs 75,000. This scholarship is available for students above class 9, and the amount is transferred directly to their personal bank accounts.

Simple process to check status

To check the payment status, one has to visit the official portal scholarships.gov.in. After logging in there, you will have to click on the payment status option. After filling in the registration number, password, and captcha code, the status will appear on the screen. With this, students will get complete information related to their scholarship immediately.

The main objective of the NSP scholarship is to support financially weak students in the field of education and encourage them to move forward. The government's effort is that no eligible student should be deprived of education due to financial constraints.

Govt jobs Over 8,000 posts Released: Check DetaIs Inside, Apply Now


WBSSC Bharti 2025: The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has announced a bumper recruitment drive. This is good news for the candidates who wish to do a government job. Candidates interested in applying for this vacancy should prepare, as the application process is about to begin. 

Before this, know the complete information about this vacancy. Vacancies have come out for more than 8,000 teaching staff in secondary and higher secondary schools run and aided by the state of West Bengal. For this, a short notice has been issued right now.

Could AI Replace You? Microsoft Names the Most Vulnerable Jobs

Synopsis: Microsoft has released a study showing which jobs overlap most with artificial intelligence (AI). The research, based on 200,000 real Copilot conversations, reveals that roles heavily dependent on knowledge and communication, like writers, analysts, and clerks, are the most affected. Jobs that require physical activity and hands-on work remain mostly unaffected for now. However, overlap does not mean replacement. The message is that workers should learn to use AI as a tool to strengthen their value in the workplace.

Which Jobs Are Safe and Which Are Not? Microsoft’s AI Findings

People keep asking the same question: “Will AI replace my job?” I have wondered about it myself. Microsoft’s new study offers some insight. It is not a prediction of the future, but it shows how AI is already influencing work.

This study differs from others in that it does not rely on theory. Microsoft examined 200,000 Copilot conversations from 2024 and compared them with the official U.S. government job classification system. In other words, it examined how AI is actually being used and linked that usage to specific occupations.

The results were unsettling. Jobs that depend heavily on language, numbers, and coordination, such as technical writers, editors, telemarketers, market researchers, and journalists, show a high overlap with AI capabilities. These are roles where AI can already handle a meaningful part of the work.

However, overlap does not mean replacement. The study makes it clear that AI is not taking over entire occupations. It can complete certain tasks within those roles. For example, AI may draft reports or summarize information, while humans focus on decision-making and creativity.

On the other hand, jobs with little to no overlap are those requiring hands-on, physical effort or environments where human presence cannot be substituted easily. Roofers, dishwashers, machine operators, and massage therapists fall into this group. These jobs remain relatively safe from AI disruption, at least for now.

Reading through the lists made me think of people I know working in these fields. Even though some jobs are safe at present, progress in robotics and automation could change that. It is less about permanent safety and more about time.

The researchers also highlighted something important: the real competition is not AI itself, but another person who learns how to use AI better than you. That shift is already happening in workplaces.

The conclusion is not a doomsday warning. It is more like a weather update: conditions are changing, and preparation matters. If your job has a high overlap with AI, learn to use these tools so you are not replaced but empowered. If your job has little overlap, keep learning anyway. The landscape will continue to shift, and adaptability will remain the most valuable skill.

Figuring Out How to Write for Both Google and AI

Summary: Content strategy is not just about ranking on Google anymore. With generative AI tools exploding in usage, writers need to create content that works for both search engines and AI systems. That means you still hold on to the old SEO basics, but you also adjust a little for how AI works. Things like giving clear summaries, laying out information in a simple question-and-answer style, keeping your brand name consistent wherever it shows up, and stating key facts in plain language. It is almost like you are running two different races at once. Google feels more like a long marathon, and AI is more like a fast sprint.

Why Ranking on Google Alone Won’t Be Enough Anymore

I have been staring at this question for a while: how do you even write content now? For years, the formula was simple. Rank on Google, show up on page one, job done. But things are not that neat anymore. AI chatbots don’t just point people to links; they become the answer. 

Search vs AI: where people are actually looking

Google is still the king. No doubt about that. Stats back it up. But those numbers only count traditional search engines. What about the growing crowd of people who just ask ChatGPT or another bot? Different story.

Here’s the thing. Chatbot traffic is still way smaller compared to Google. But the speed it is growing is hard to ignore. One study showed visits exploding by 80 percent in a year. ChatGPT alone pulled in 55.2 billion visits in 12 months. That’s not nothing. And while these tools don’t exactly replace search yet, they are definitely carving out space.

You can’t just write for Google anymore. You have to write for Google and the bots.

How search engines think vs how AI thinks

This is where it gets interesting.

Google looks simple from the outside: type a keyword, get a list of links. But under the hood, it is a spider web of algorithms. Relevance, authority, backlinks, trust, structured data, and even reviews. Honestly, it’s a machine built over decades to weed out cheats. Penguin, Panda, Farmer, all those updates, they killed shortcuts.

AI flips the whole thing. People feed it long, messy prompts. AI spits out polished answers. But the defense system behind it is not as hardened as Google’s. AI doesn’t check thousands of signals. It leans on fewer sources, and it values mentions, co-citations, as much as or sometimes more than actual links. That changes the game.

Instead of obsessing over backlinks, you could benefit just from being mentioned in the right places. Almost like old-school PR making a comeback, but tuned for machines.

Hence, how do we actually write for both?

Here’s where I keep going back and forth. Part of me thinks nothing’s really changed. Good content is still good content. Clear structure, headings, facts, stats, clean code, accessible pages. Google loves it. AI eats it up, too.

However, there are also additional layers. Write in Q and format because AI users ask questions, not just keywords. Keep summaries sharp because AI pulls those lines straight into answers. Don’t bury important info in PDFs or behind scripts. AI’s not as smart as Google when crawling. Ensure your brand appears consistently everywhere. AI blends stuff, so mixed signals confuse it. And think about co-citations, getting your brand mentioned next to the right terms in the right places.

What hits me is that AI is not replacing SEO. It is like parallel SEO. Similar rules, slightly different mechanics. Ignore it, and you miss half the future traffic.

Where this leaves us

The takeaway is that writing for both is not impossible. In fact, it is mostly overlapping. The difference is in the details. Short, sharp facts for AI, structured depth for Google. Both want clarity, authority, and trust.

The tricky part is keeping up with the speed of change. Google took more than twenty years to get where it is.
