Corona
virus is a deadly menace that spreads disease in humans, animals and birds. The
Latin word corona means crown. It is said that the name is derived from the
fact that these viruses can be seen like a crown through electron microscope.
However, these corona situations made many crowns in the human life and taught
many lessons for the nations.
What
once we seemed so important for us in our life turns out to be the least
important, and what seems to be least important seemed to be most important -
that is also what the novel corona virus (COVID19) teaches us.
In
Today’s modern world, many have said that the power is the great or the money
is great, but we have now learned that these are not at all great amidst the
virus. We have now seen radical changes taken place in the world due to corona
virus and its effects.
Cities
and streets are silent, marriage, festivals and meetings are postponed. All
religious rituals regardless of all communities are confined in the mind of the
individual. Churches, temples, mosque, pilgrim centers, tourist attractions,
theaters, fitness centers, night clubs, beauty parlors saloons are shut until
final notice.
Public
worship hitherto common has been reduced to personal observation. Airports are seen
empty; voyage is prohibited. Crimes and killings have declined in the name of
caste and creed, equality in cottage and the huts, mercy has increased in the
world, all places where the public
assemble, state and country borders and even personal closeness have been made
either naught or minimal to the core.
However,
there is no communal riot in the world, no car accidents, no pollution in the
world, everyone in the world ate their own meals, there is time for those who
don't have, everyone learned to live with what is and all people in the world
extended their hands to the Original Creator.
In
the midst of this, nations are proud of medical help and the fraternity at
large. Big salute to Police force, doctors, nurses who are extending their noble
to work without break in spite of the crisis and risk their own lives. Police
personnel have been working tirelessly for protecting and helping people
worldwide and we do not have words to express them enough.
What
we can do during this pandemic is to do things right. All we have to do is take
care of things with care.
Stay
informed on the most up-to-date developments about Coronoa Virus or COVID-19.
Follow recommendation given by your healthcare provider, your national and
local public health authority on how to defend yourself and others from the
deadly menace.
There
is no definite cure for corona-virus infection. No vaccine is available. The
science world is trying to discover the vaccine. Let us pay tributes for the front-line workers
such as doctors, nurses, hospital staff, police force and social workers who
are helping to keep society going amid the crisis. Let us pray to the Almighty
God to eradicate the malady from the world.
